Today we’re reading Theodore Roosevelt’s speech,  “The Duties of American Citizenship.” In 250 words, answer one of the following questions: 

1. By Roosevelt’s definition, do you think you are a good citizen? Why, or why not?
2. Is it important for citizens to voice their opinions and participate in the decision
   making process? Why, or why not? What are some ways you can make your voice
   heard?
3. What are some of the things in your community that need improving?  According to Roosevelt, what could/should
   you do about it?
