Today, we’re looking at some examples of the “What Were You Wearing?” exhibit (below). As you look through the exhibits, considering the following questions:
- What is the point (or argument) of these exhibits?
- Why is a visual medium (examples of the clothes) effective? What does seeing the outfits do that listening to or reading a description cannot?
- How can repetition serve an argument or story in an exhibit like this?
- What can you take from these exhibits and apply to your curation project?
