ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE
Writing Program Administrator – Christian Brothers University

Assessment: Developed and administered assessment tool for General Education Outcomes in first-year composition. Created new evaluation rubric based on AAC&U Value Rubrics. Built new assessment online rating tool to ease collection of data and real-time reporting. Led training and calibration for assessment raters. Revised rubric based on results and feedback from raters. Developed tool and reporting mechanism for Institutional Effectiveness Outcomes. Worked with different programs within the Department of Literature and Languages to create meaningful and measurable outcomes and assessment process.
Faculty Development: Coordinated with department chair in hiring, training, and observing contingent writing faculty. Created Adjunct Faculty Handbook with checklists and standard language for syllabi, guidance on writing prompts, and campus resources for instruction. Drafted annual reports of contingent faculty. Provided support to full-time faculty by offering feedback on course development, observing instruction, and handling difficult student situations.
Writing on Campus: Collaborated with writing center director and staff to develop tutoring workshops to support student writing skills, particularly in those areas that our assessment report noted needed attention. Coordinated faculty writing group.
